Are ther any charts that shows the stages of rotting for any type of produce?

Answer 1:

Sorry, I haven't come across any great chart. I did a quick search on the web, you may be able to find something if you look longer. But unfortunately I don't know any great way to do that. It seems to me that visually comparison is your best bet. I'd suggest using the same piece of fruit and cut it into several pieces of equal size and shape for each container.

You could also do one set up experiments outdoors, indoors, and the fridge to find temperature dependence.
