Is teleportation possible yet? I have heard of tests on it, but I want to know more about.
Question Date: 2006-01-20
Answer 1:

Again this is a question I would have immediately said no but teleportation is indeed a reality! Scientists have been conducting teleportation experiments (called Quantum Teleportation) for quite a few years now and have had tremendous success. Unfortunately, their experiments have been limited only to extremely small particles (small like a billionth of the width of a penny) and have not tried anything interesting to the rest of us (like people). Keep your fingers crossed, maybe you will be able to teleport to class by the end of college.
