Will a sled with two or more people on it go down a hill faster than a sled with one person on it? Assuming all of the people weigh the same, and the sleds are the same.
Question Date: 2013-01-06
Answer 1:

Likely yes. The more mass you have on the sled will give it more momentum, which will help overcome other forces of resistance that slow the sled down.
