If an organisms muscle cells or nerve cells are damaged, what problems would there be? Which stages of cell division require energy? Which stages would require that new biomolecules and cellular structures be made?
Question Date: 2013-01-30
Answer 1:

ALL stages of cell division require energy. ALL stages of cell division require biomolecules to be made and taken apart. It's how cells move stuff around inside of them. What "problems" result from damage depends on the kind of problem that causes the damage.
