How are galaxies made? I know we live in the Milkey Way.

Answer 1:

Good question - the short and simple answer is gravity, but a more complete answer relies on unseen "dark matter" that exerts gravitational force but can't otherwise be seen or detected. Dark matter is currently one of the biggest unanswered questions in physics.
