Are humans and animals the same?
Question Date: 2014-08-19
Answer 1:

We are of the same heritage and the same tree of life. I directed someone else to this video also click here to watch but it explains where humans come from.

We are very closely related to many animals. Many animals also show intelligence and emotions like humans do. We have very very much in common with animals, but we also have some advantages in intelligence and tool use. Science says that humans are a branch on a tree of the animal kingdom, so yes, we are animals. Above and beyond that, the question is more philosophical and one that you'll have to think very hard about as you grow up.

Answer 2:

Humans are a kind of animal, but there are a lot of things that make us different from other animals, just as there are a lot of things to make dogs different from other animals, too.
