I have a question for you. I read that brain cells
do not replicate, but some brain stem cells are
replicating. If mitochondria divide each time the
brain cells divide, does this mean that only then
we can have new cells? I have read that they also
replicate at random at any time of the cell cycle.
My question is also: if the brain mitochondria are
different than the skin mitochondria because they
must last much more time, does skin mitochondria
last as long as brain cells?
Than you very much for your site.I will be happy
to hear your answer. |
