What does reflect mean?
Question Date: 2015-04-29
Answer 1:

The word reflect has two different meanings:
When you say that something reflects, it means that it comes back to you. The ocean "reflects" the image of the moon at night. A mirror "reflects" your image if you look in the mirror.

The other meaning of "reflect" is to think carefully of thoughtfully at something. You can reflect on your behavior of the day at school, or you can reflect on any experience that you have.
