Where would humans live if Earth didn't exist; and who named earth "Earth"?

Answer 1:

Humans cannot currently live anywhere but the Earth. Without Earth, we would be extinct.

Earth is named after a Germanic/Viking deity similar to the titan Gaia in Greek mythology.
