How does an electric current attract paper clips?
Question Date: 2016-02-02
Answer 1:

The word for this is "electromagnetism": anything with electricity flowing through it becomes a magnet. This includes the wire, and it also includes the paper clips, which start to get current because of the magnetic field created by the wire.
