I am doing a project on hurricanes and I need to know how tall a hurricane can be and what the biggest hurricane was?

Answer 1:

The largest hurricane ever reported was Typhoon Tip, reaching 2,220 km in diameter. They extend to the tropopause - a layer in the Earth's atmosphere - which on average is about 17 km up at the equator.
