How does the study of Geology help scientists understand the function of the earth's composition?
Question Date: 2016-02-28
Answer 1:

Geology is the study of the Earth, so anything studying the Earth's composition is geology. We learn about the Earth's composition using seismic waves, laboratory studies on rocks, and by looking at places were rocks have been unearthed from deep underground by earthquakes and see what they look like.
