Can you influence dreams?
Question Date: 2016-05-05
Answer 1:

Yes, you can sometimes influence dreams. We call these lucid dreams. But I don't know that much about how to cause them--the Internet has a lot to say about lucid dreams, but I think a lot of it is questionable. I can say that it seems clear that some people have developed the ability to cause lucid dreams, so if that's something that interests you, it's worth it to keep asking! (Just be careful about misinformation!)

Answer 2:

Some people can. It's called "lucid dreaming". They can only influence their own dreams, of course - they can't influence other people's dreams.
