In our Biology class we are doing a paper about a scientist and how they have changed a particular science. We were instructed to seek you out for help in finding a scientist. I would appreciate it if you could respond with a scientist that has something to do with the modernization of computers. Thank you
Answer 1:

If you want to learn more about a computer scientists who changed the world of modern computers Seymour Cray is a name that comes to my mind. He is often called the "Father of Supercomputing".
Here is a web site that tells you a little bit about him
http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/home/tef/cray/tribute.html
but if you go to
http://www.google.com/
and type in his name in the search form you will get much more information.
