Is it possible that the big bang occurred as a result of virtual particles?
Question Date: 2019-01-23
Answer 1:

The current theory of big bang does not really explain the cause of big bang, simply because our current theory of physics only explains what happens shortly after the big bang. So, right at the beginning of big bang, the concepts of "particle" or "virtual particle" probably no longer apply. We need some completely new theory paradigm to explain the cause of big bang.
