How would a penrose triangle look to 2d people? Are there shapes in 3d that would be impossible in 4d?

Penrose triangle is a 2d shape. An observer looking at it from within the 2d space that it exists in, would see it much as you would if you were looking at the side of a building, the floorplan of which were built off of a Penrose triangle.

The flat pictures of Penrose triangles would be what 2d people would see? I don't really know how to think in 2D.
